Quake 4 Game Save

Does anyone know how to save your game progress on Quake 4? i need to reformat and i dont want to have to replay like 8 hrs worth...

Go to your Quake 4 directory.

Open folder "q4base".

Open folder "savegames".

Copy necessary save files. I assume this will work.
