hi i have a Tagan TG480-U01 psu in my desktop, unfortunately my pc has now stopped working, this i beleive is due to the psu as the fans dont even spin on power up or nothin!! is there a replacement for this psu?

thanks inter55

First, how old is the PSU? If it's not too old, you may be able to send it back to claim the warranty. Do you have any way to confirm that it is the PSU?

If the fans stopped spinning at some point, then the computer stopped working, it's most definitely the PSU.

Is this a Retail bought computer or a custom build computer. You can check to make sure theres no Standoffs behind the motherboard in the wrong place, grounding out the motherboard. Which then results in a short and nothing turns on. If there in the right place. You can try jumping the power supply and test it manually outside of the case. If it works you have bad motherboard.

Picture is how to jump a power supply
