PSU Problem with Athlon 64's

I had that psu, but it broke :p

Not the most stable thing int the world but it should do yes.

I take it you had an Athlon 64 with that PSU? How long before it broke? Also when it broke did it mess up anything else inside the computer?

I had an amd athlon xp 2500+ overclocked to 2800+

But the psu was flimsy, i am very cautious about care when handling my pc. But the pins for plugging in the power cord were very loose and it lost power on and off, it didnt not damage anything. I got anotherone.

Case psu's are a bonus but annoying sometimes. But i actualy have to say its the best psu that has came with a case even though it was duff.

I had heard that you should always be leary about stock PSU's but I just figured that since this one was 420 that it should be ok. I guess I will see how it works and then if I need to switch it out I can. They are not too hard to replace are they? I have never built a computer before.

Yeh stock normaly bad. Not to hard atall just 4 or 5 screws on the case.

Also good case choice. I have a raidmax case myself, it rocks :D

Yeah I cant wait to get all the parts bought and see how it works. The 6 case fans is what really turned me on to it. Thank you very much for all of the information.
