ps3 defiantly, that is a lot more than what you would get out of a new comp.

PC, I ditched consoles years ago. You can do more with a PC and it's upgradeable.

Yeah, that's one of the most annoying things about PCs. You have to upgrade them every 5 minutes.

I'd say to go for a Xbox 360, if your into gaming personally
(I do have both, so its in no way one sided).
For media though, the PS3 may just have it.

Actually, streaming DivX or XviD to a 360 is incredibly easy now. If you download movies or TV shows much, the 360 should be the clear choice. Then again, the PS3 is nice for BluRay, but not everybody needs that yet.
