Program not deleting

everytime i try to delete this zipped game in my documents, it says "Blah Blah game being used by another program"

i check my task manager and it has no games running. what do you guys suggest?

Boot into Safe Mode by tapping F8 at startup and delete it from there. That way no programs are running when you delete it.

That should work, or just restart and dont bother with safe mode. Most likely its windows being retarted and it needs a restart to get into shape.

Then next time you boot up it will delete the file for you.

Did you check the process viewer too? Maybe a process of the game was still running. But what ArrizX said should work.

Usually if I reboot I can delete files that are "used by another program".
