profile corrupted in win2k help

when i logged in to my administrator user
it said my user profile has been corrupted
and me logged into a temp user

the same happened previously to another of my
admin user.
why does this happen always to admin users only.

is there any way i can recover it.

you may be able to recover the files by going to C:\Documents and Settings\(the username)

you may also have a roaming profile enabled when your not even on a network..this could be causing the problem

another soultion would be to hold F8 at before 2k starts up and select the most recent settings that work
