I have a Pentium 4 2.4Ghz processor that is in an Asus p4p800 board (socket 478).

Can this board fit into a LGA 775 board? I know it supports Pentium 4, but possibly those designed for LGA 775.

The socket and the CPU have to match, so a socket 478 processor can only go onto a socket 478 board.
