Problems with Driv3r and San Andreas on my computer

I installed San Andreas on my computer yesterday and it played fine for 15 minutes, and then it started getting slow and choppy. Then bars or beams going in all directions started coming out of objects, mostly cars. The same thing is happening in Driv3r. Then it froze for a couple of minutes and came back. Is it a problem with my video card and are other people having the same problems? I have an nVidia Ti4800 video card, and it should be compatible with the game?

Did you check the game requirements b4 you buy it?

bballieu - Go to the video options and change to Low ( I think the default is very high or something). I had to do that and it runs perfect.
