Ok I know this might seem as an unorthadox method, but I have always transfered videos from one computer to another by copying the videos to a cd-rw then putting it off the other computer and pulling the files to that one. Well I have some videos that I downloaded from bittorrent and the files were copied to the cd-rw fine but the files wont even transfer or open when I try do on my laptop. Is this something to do with the way bittorrent downloads or some other problem?

What format are they, AVI?. You would be better to use a flash memory stick say 1 or 2 gig as it would transfer very easy and quickly.

You could just connect the 2 computers with a crossover cable and transfer the stuff directly.

Thanks for the help I bought a two gig memory stick, still taking a while wmp takes a good to minutes to fill up 4.5 hours. Only a small problem now wmp wont play some of the files but divx plays all of them. No bigger there I guess just a troublesome burden, oh and yes they are avi files.:)
