I currently have an old 1.5Ghz Powerbook G4 12" with 768mb Ram and 100gb Hard drive.

I was just wondering if there was a problem with Leopard 10.5 and the system, as soon as I installed it and ran the OS, the system has had the fans running constantly and it runs very hot. Otherwise if I had 10.4 Tiger running, it would be just fine. I was wondering if their was a problem with the OS or the computer that needed to be fixed.

Thanks:eek:

call apple about it. its probably a problem with the operating system not cooperating with the fans properly.

Well, i found a fix, but it wasn't what i was exactly looking for but w/e, I just went to System Preferences/ Energy Saver/ and set the processor to reduced mode. Then the fans instantly went from 5500+ rpm to 800+ rpm, thanks anyway:D
