Recently I migrated from Win XP to Win 7 using easy transfer. This was successful. When installing Win7 I never set a user password. The original installation of Win XP had a password. When I attempt to add a password I get a warning that I may lose some encryption details and personal certificates. I am not aware of using these in the original system. If I proceed to add the password the error message reads "Cannot change password".
