Problem - no post - Asus P5WD2-E Premium - pentium D 805

So I just did a complete upgrade on my system. I went from:

AMD Sempron 2800 system to a new Pentium D system. I plugged everything in, I'm not getting anything to post, no video, no beeps, no nothing. I've unplugged everything but the primary hd, video card, cpu and I still get nothing.

Here is the system:

Asus P5WD2-E Premium
Intel Pentium D 805
OCZ 1GB Kit DDR2-800 PC2-6400 Gold Edition Enhanced Latency Dual Channel RAM
Asus EN7300GS/HTD GeForce 7300 GS PCI Express 256MB DDR2 Video Card
Cooler Master Extreme Power 600W
Zalman CNPS9500 LED CPU Cooler
A bunch of drives

So, everything should be compatable right?
I'm wondering bout the power supply, do I need an 8 pin ATX plug, or just the normal 4-pin ATX plug for the Pentium D? I really don't know wht could be causing the problem since i'm not getting any beep codes.

Any help would be appreciated

Are the fan's spinning? If not try another psu, If they are then remove all the connectors and cards from the motherboard, (make sure you are using the 4pin cpu plug as well as the 20/24 pin atx connector from the psu) then reboot the system again and if it beeps try install things on at a time untill you see what is stopping the post. If there are no beeps the board is toast.
