I have never sold a used PC before. Have you considered donating it to a charity? That's how I get rid of my unwanted hardware.
 
It's like a car. Drive it off the lot and it loses 1/3 of it's value. A year later another 1/3. In 2 years it's only worth wholesale value. Same for a computer and especially prebuilts. Just think what it cost you new and subtract 1/2. Some one will bite at the price.
