My school confiscates all mp3 players, flash drives, etc that they find.

geeze! that sucks!!! Our school doesn't mind, well at least if you're a good student they don't. I've brought mine in numerous times without any problems, yet some people when they bring them get them taken away. Then again I'm a good student
The only bad thing is that on certain computers in the programming lab you can't put a flash drive in it. It has the USB ports and all that but on certain computers it requires an admin password but I have only had that happen once or twice in two years.
