Power Switch Problem

I just put XP on a new computer and i cant turn it on with out a power switch..... the problem is the supply doesnt have a switch and the mobo doesnt seem to have a spot for one....what are my options?

what do you mean there is no spot for a switch on the mobo? the psu shouldn't have a switch, and you should see something like this where you can hook the switch on your case to.

Ok so when i 1st got the computer it had a power switch coming from the power supply, the case has no cords, and my front panel lights have no cords....if i remember right i put them into my new case when i got it..... the mobo has no pulgin for the power switch i purchased and only 1 LED connecter..... and i was saying i just installed XP to explain why this is a new problem.

How old is your mobo? Is it ATX or AT?

its an ibm...i dont have a camera and i dont know how to tell the model but heres a link to the hardware manual... ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/thinkcentre_pdf/74p2661.pdf

mine is model 8196, and their is a motherboard model about half way down. Thanks what ive been using.
