Power Supply

I should probably be able to answer this question on my own, but I want to double check with someone. I currently have a 300w power supply in my computer. What I want to know is I can upgrade to say a 750w power supply without burning up my motherboard (MSI RC410-M) up?

yeah man.. it only takes the power it needs. the extra 400w is for ur molex fans and what not or ur 6pin PCIe power

750W would be overkill on a lot of applications. What are you trying to support that you need that much wattage?
