ok, new rig is here...
i was checking out my CPU voltage in my bios and found it jumps around from i think 1.44 to 1.46 and inbetween.

i want a good back up battery/power conditioner/surge protector to protect my precious... yes, yes... my precious....

let me know whatcha think
 
that sounds pretty normal to me, I don't understand what do you want though o_O a UPS? what does that has to do with you'r cpu core voltage?
 
well, if i have a power backup, it conditions the electricity before it gets to the box... i have really crappy wiring at my place
 
A UPS or surge protector really has nothing to do with your core voltage, if you are concerned about the stability of the voltage in your PC you would be better investing in a quality PSU, and I see you already have one

It's perfectly normal for voltage to jump, and so long as it is within +/-5% of where it should be it is fine

You also have to consider that most software voltage and hardware monitoring utilities are inaccurate to begin with
