For some peeps, 19 yrs is a life time. I don't know what "gen" that makes one from 2006. (not that I care or if it matters)Post from May 1, 2006. Feels like a lifetime ago.
I actually just redid my SLI-DR rig and a pair of 8800GTX. One of my 1GB RAM sticks died so I went on Ebay and found some XMS Pro 400MHz real cheap and grabbed those since I always wanted them back in the day.Post from May 1, 2006. Feels like a lifetime ago.
Thank you. He's been 100% since they let us leave and Tuesday marks the final day of his recovery. It's been rough, and her and I are still trying to shake off the image of waking up with him being covered in blood and blood clots.Good to here your little one is recovering!
Kids born around there are the last half of Gen Z. Guys like me who were teenagers through that period, the best gaming/hardware time ever, are the older millennials. Most of us consider the early 2000s to be peak technology and gaming. I mean, DFI in the consumer space existed. For some peeps, 19 yrs is a life time. This is still the same one I owned from back then, and I managed to get me an NF2 KT333 Lanparty board too (one of the green slot ones) but it cost a pretty penny.Same here!
Dude, that DFI mb brought me back! I never was able to get one of those because they seem to sell out quick. I still want it hehe...ended up with the Gigabyte P35
omg I loved the green DFIs too! Might hunt some down on Ebay lolThis is still the same one I owned from back then, and I managed to get me an NF2 KT333 Lanparty board too (one of the green slot ones) but it cost a pretty penny.
I also have a S939 A8N32-SLI Deluxe which is actually more stable and easier to use than the DFI, way less finicky. Still prefer the DFI.
Is that a 7950GT?
I wouldn't go down that rabbit hole unless you want to pay a ridiculous price for one of those boards.omg I loved the green DFIs too! Might hunt some down on Ebay lol
I have a S775 P5N-E SLI that was beast at OCing and I still have it! I had sold off its two 8800GTs though
And I had to dig through 2007 invoices and found out it's a Sapphire X1950PRO with the Zalman cooler!
