Potentially the longest thread in history...

Oh ASUS are in the game of power supplies now? Or are they just like rebranding the same OEM components that as does Seasonic, corsair, and PC power and cooling do?

I have no idea I been out of the " PC Enthusiast" and power supply game for quittttte a fortnight or two.. A hot minute etc etc...

Edit: but oh to actually for srs answer your question I hast no idea. check newegg, amazon, Bestbuy even if you want laughs??

Edit to: Oh I don't even know anymore, what power supplies typically come with 3, 5 or 10 year warranties??

Last time I checked it was only PC Power and Cooling that had anything more than 2-3 years? Lol im super old man.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is a rebrand of something. I didn't buy it; it came in the gaming rig that I won. It does give some awesome bragging rights, though.

Ah I See.

My computer age is coming out more and more when these Gen Z/Alpha Kido's tell me you no longer have to manually do low level formats and then full HD wipes to prepare for use or that you don't have to manually program CMOS/BIOS settings anymore.

And now I see the tears in 65+ men's eyes when you tell that how to do maintenance on car engines now a days. Kindred sadness yo.

I looked into that earlier this morning and found that the Thors are Seasonic psu's.
But I found that Asustek, inc is making those Strick psu's themselves and the reviews are very good. (the Thors reviews are very good too)
Trotter got himself a very good PSU with that computer he won
As of 2020 the Strix units were Seasonic, Focus Gold to be exact. If there are any newer units I haven't looked. TUF ATX 3.0 units are Great Wall OEM.
