I've always thought gravity was kinder to men than to women

So I watched the Speedvision show "Hi Rev Tunerz" on Sunday night. I don't even know why I watch the thing, because it literally angers me to the point where I am hostile to those around me for several hours.
It's supposed to be a "performance import" car show, but I don't even know where to begin with what's wrong with the show. Well, maybe I do. The female hosts were obviously chosen for their breast size, and I don't even want to know what they based the male host choice on. It's obvious that intelligence, automotive knowledge and grasp of the English language were not categories during their interviews. For example, the host on Sunday attempted to describe a turbo system. What he said was well past ridiculously wrong, bordering on laughable. The use simplistic sentences like "It's got a aluminum wing, it's got a body kit, and it's got a trick carbon fiber hood". No joke, that's an actual quote from the show.
Which brings us to the cars themselves. The show is nothing but riced out economy cars. These people drool over Honda Civics with body kits, carbon fiber hoods and aluminum wings. And these are the only three modifications that they seem to know about. Rarely do they ever even open the hood to show the engine, and when they do, they completely gloss over any "performance" (sorry, but I have a hard time thinking of a Ford Focus and the word "performance" in the same sentence, unless the two are separated by the words "lacking in") modifications that may be present. Even if they do make mention, brand names and specifications are completely ignored.
But I guess this is all part of the whole ricer scene: image only, no substance, complete immaturity and ignorance. There is something seriously wrong with the world when kids no longer lust over Porsches, Ferarris and Lamborghinis, but instead drool over Honda Civics.
