I havent seen a thread like this yet, so I'll make one.
Here's what you do:
Install and run HD tach- 32mb test
Take a Screenshot
Post it here.

Lets see who can get the best: Average transfer rate, access time, burst rate, and lowest CPU usage.

I'll start.

EDIT: Bonus points for whoever can get the worst of each category also.

It does if you...
Install program then:
Start > All programs > Simpli Software> HD Tach folder > Right click on HD Tach program > Select Properties > Select Compatibility Tab > Tick Run this program in compatibility mode for: > Select XP SP2 mode > Click apply then ok.
Go back and start program.

Shit. My hard drive is borked. I got less than the ATA, and it's a Seagate barracuda. It's under warranty... I know it's borked because Seagate DiskTools or W/E it's called is telling me so!

Well, I'll try de-fragging it or something. I'm also testing my secondary HD.

i wonder how a raptor or an ssd would do on this test...
