i still think that Conroe is a lot cheaper. With the 2.4Ghz Conroe, its roughly $330, you get 1066 quad pumped FSB, 4MB of cache, and a 9x multiplier. And it performs like no other too.

THG I think already tested a socket AM2 4800+ agianst a socket 939 4800+. Well there was like a 3%-5% increase over skt 939. I wouldn't upgrade to AM2 untill their 65nm processors come out which is sometime this year

Gross. Please realize that the AM2 cores that will be released are NOT new architectures. Windsor is basically the San Diego or Venice with an improved memory controller for DDR2 support.
