well some of you may have been following my website issues... but its all up and fine. Anyways, what i have is it is hosted from my computer, domain name from godaddy, DNS from DynDNS (for dynamic IP). oh, and my domain is voldabyte.com

i am trying to try and make emails through my domain name. I have a subdomain made (mail.voldabyte.com), and everything, and am wondering how i can make it so that if someone sends a message to "Tom@voldabyte.com" it will make it to me.

Simple enough..?

thanks!

Hmm I don't think you can do that with a dynamic IP since your MX record would be changing all of the time. Not 100 percent on that.

Well then you need to get a DNS server to propagate your mail.voldabyte.com to a ip. This can be done locally or through someone else. We do ours through a linux box and thats about all I know. Sorry
