You can use any printer on a wireless network.

You just plug in either the serial, parallel, or USB cable into the main host computer, with the router plugged in, and then make sure the printer is shared.

The other wireless computers will just have to search for it on the network.

thats what i thought bu this hp sales rep was telling me i couldnt do that and told me to buy this 400 dollar printer

He's full of it (not you, the HP rep), it just means that the printer isn't a standalone network printer. Some you can setup as a network printer via its own network inputs, it gets its own IP address and the works. Otherwise, you just hook it up to one of your systems and share the printer.
