Please help-Malware sweeper detect Surveille at each startup in XP

Do this, go to the cmd prompt

type in

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

Any changes?

Tried them, no change, however, upon /renew:
Ethernet:
Media state- disconnected
Wireless:
Returns IP address
Returns Subnet Mask
Returns Default Gateway

Also the wireless router is connected, despite not being able to ping it's ip address or not being able to connect to or ping any internet site.

At this point Im not even sure this is spyware related.

Do you have you windows cd?

I just looked thru all the stuff I got with this computer. There is a Toshiba Recover Disk. I will take a look and see if I can recover the internet. This has never happened before, but it happened after the Firefox 3.5.6 upgrade. As for the .zlg entry coming back. Is that just a non spyware file extention, then?

I'll see if I can do a recover system from the Toshiba disk.

When you do a recover, it may wipe your system clean so be careful, backup your stuff just to make sure. I wa wanting you to do a repair if possible
