been there done that, yes you have to use it in the cd-drive. i own the balck cd versions of FF7 too, and i still own a PS1 that i use as a cd player."Muhahahaha"

PSXe is very good

Yeah, I personally like PSXe too. It has all the audio/video support you need to get the most out of it, as it seemed to be the most popular back then so alot was written for it (if it still isn't)
I use it to run the Crash Bandicoot series (The only ones I got for Playstation, as they are just superb!)
