Playing flash !!

I downloaded some flash files ( using right click >> Save target as ) , a wierd issue is >>> when i try to move them from their original path ( D:\ in my case ) they dont work any more ..and asks me to enter the URL for the flash file ) !!!

Anyone knows how to save a copy of a working flash on my drive ?

The best way that I found to do it is:

On the web page with the flash object, right-click the page and view source. Find the path of the flash file (has an extension of .swf) and copy and paste it into your browser's address bar. Then Save As... with your browser.

Make sure that you have the appropriate permissions, etc from the author to save, though.

this only works in firefox, not IE right?

in FF. hit tool page info, then media

look for the last embedded object, that should be it. hit save

or you can hit ctr-a ctr-c (I forget which order) and paste it in frontpage, then select properties of that object
