Picked up a virus or spy type app...

I have picked up something that has taken some control of my machine. It writes multiple files on my desktop that have a ".t" extension. I also continually get a re-route when browsing to a screen calling itself "Security Center" with an official looking banner. Anyone heard of this and how to eradicate. Thanks.

I'm sorry no-one has replied, but it may be obvious.

Have you got anti virus software installed?

If not, you are asking for it, but there are options.

Get spybot and ad-aware (no links just google it) and run them.

Let it kill everything. then do an online scan. (It wont kill anything, but it will tell you what you got)

If it comes up with anything, google it (or report it here)
