Problem that needs fixing fast

I'm working on a new image for a computer lab. I just installed Tiger on these new G5's that we just bought. Then I installed the new Adobe CS2 package. But whenever I open up photoshop and go to "file > new"........it says "Photoshop cannot open a new file because of a program error." I've tried to reinstall it, but it does the same thing. Illustrator and Indesign are fine, it's just photoshop that does it. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks.
