You couldn't, even at the furthest reaches of your imagination, bring yourself to see the cute baby elephant as being pink? What about a nice lilac?

Both samples are taken from the elephant. Both samples are in the red spectrum, and on the lighter-side of red. What is light red? Pink . There's different shades of every color, CrazeD .
