Phenom II x4 good idle temps?

Hi, I recently built my computer (Wouldn't boot found out I need to reinstall my OS etc.) I'm wondering what is the ideal idle temp, or a relatively safe idle temp. for the Phenom II? I've looked online and people say its safe up to 62 degrees. I let my computer idle in the BIOS until the temperatures leveled out. In the motherboard bios the CPU temp. was 44 degrees Celsius. Too me that seemed high for it to be idling but I don't know how much it'll actually increase under load. Does that seem normal to you guys or a little high?

Firstly do your fans sound overworked?

If you just have a couple of fans cooling the system then I would expect anything from about 35 - 45°C. But room temperature plays a part (all be it a fairly small part) on idle temps.

So I would say that when you install the OS and the temps are what they are now I wouldn't worry too much
