Personal Information on the Web

To anyone in the Forum,

I'm new to the forum and have a quick question.

Where is my personal information stored in windows XP and how do I delete it.

I was on a website the other day and noticed that it had where I live in one of the banners. All of cookies and temp files were deleted and this message still came up.

Any suggestions? Is it seeing a file from when I filled out the registration card from Norton's Antivirus?

welcome to CF!
your web browser probably saves form information when you enter in your name, address, and such. just clear that and turn off the automatic form saving and you should be fine.

If you have Internet Explorer:

click Tools menu -> Internet Options... -> Content tab -> AutoComplete button -> then you can choose what to save and also clear the saved forms

OR if you have mozilla firefox:

click Tools menu -> Options... -> Privacy (on the left side) -> Saved Form Information
