PC vs Console

There is no actual comparing a PC vs a Console. 1 simple reason you can upgrade a PC but you can't upgrade a console.

People buy consoles to play games and in the case of the PS3 watch blu ray films.

People buy computers for productivity. If your a gamer and want to spend the money to game on your PC you can always upgrade your system to out perform current consoles.

It would be something if Microsoft came out with a operating system that was exclusive to gaming. Now wouldn't that be something? No background tasks nothing to worry about. Install the OS have it similar to a console setup and just play the game. Of course since everyone's hardware is different they would have to include a way to change and update equipment. If that was the case a new PC with a quad and 8800 series card would destroy a console since the only task they would be doing is processing the game.

Sure with the PS3 you have your little media slot and a ghetto web browser but it doesn't bog it down like a complete OS does.

Consoles are nice for people that want to have people over and have multiple people game on 1 system. Also you don't have to worry about the latest games not running right or being to demanding. You simply put the game in and play. If you have a current computer you can pretty much do the above but you still have to install the game and download drivers for it.

Consoles = Simple no Headache fun

PC= $$$ + Knowledge + Headache's (of course the more Knowledge you have the less headaches you'll have)

How many consoles gamers are on these forums asking why a game is crashing? None because they don't have to worry about it.

Preeeeecisley.

Even knowing what the problem is you have to do more to correct it with a console you don't so a PC gamer is more of a Enthusiast that wants more then gaming.)

How many consoles gamers are on these forums asking why a game is crashing? None because they don't have to worry about it. Although consoles are becoming more like PC's though. With the addition of USB ports, Media card readers, and simple web browsers. They still don't compare to using a PC though.

Agreed.

I just can't use the lil joystick on consoles lol
