PC to HDTV via HDMI

now my computer is outputting a image thats to big on all 4 sides.

i cant fix it through my tv. Also the screen res options through pc wont get it perfect.

Have you tried any kind of auto adjust? That normally solves your problems.

Usually in your menu/settings or on the side of your TV or monitor as a button

yeah i dont have that option. but when i had my computer plugged into my tv via vga i had that option. but with hdmi that option dissappears

What type of graphics hardware does you laptop have? There should be an overscan adjustment in the video drivers that allows you to compensate for this. I can give you a better tutorial on how to fix it once I know what driver you have.
