pc costs???

i was amazed at the difference in price between making your own computer and using companies like dell and IBM. All up my computer cost about $3500, a similar machine on the dell website with only a few extra's cost closer to $7000, you paying nearly double for construction and the company name. What a rip off.


Oh and by the way these are Australian prices .

This is why everyone builds their own machines. Not everyone wants to say "Dude, I'm getting a Dell!"

Assembling your own is much cheaper in a sense, plus you may even learn something with your experience.
