It says it supports DDR400, which is PC3200, so there's no PC3500 or higher.

What happens if I just use it anyway?

its okay, as long as the RAM isnt DDR2. Even though the RAM is rated higher than the mobo can support, it will still run, just at slower speeds. And that gives you more OCing headroom.
