Partitioned Harddrive

Perhaps I have been asking the wrong question.

I have a partitioned Harddrive and am having trouble with my computer telling me I have no space left (less than 400mb). The problem is there is 45.4gb on the other side.

I have been reading about de-partitioning harddrives and it sounds like I am just asking for more problems. Is there a way to decrease one side while increasing the other and not have the probability of losing all the information on both sides?

I would be greatful for any help I can get on this matter.

THANKS

Yes.

Get partition magic on a bootup disc and then set your BIOS to load the disc drive before the Hard drive, then boot up partition magic and you should be able to resize both partitions as its not loaded into windows yet.

If not you would have to stick in your Windows XP disc and delete both partitions and recreate them and try again.
