palit 580 3gb vs 570 2.5gb

$100 cheaper for 570 could buy a nice cpu cooler and oc
is the 580 really that much better? i would like to have the bragging rights of a 580 though.

Um, bragging rights is when you have sli 590's. A 580 is not worth the extra 100 unless you plan on not upgrading for 2 1/2 years. Otherwise the 570 will suit all of your needs.

590's drivers blow, especially in a quad SLI setup.

A single overclocked 580 will work wonders
just make sure your processor doesn't bottleneck you. ;D

Unless you're doing 3DVS or 2560x1600 something, save some money and go for the 1.5GB 580. You'll see no real improvement from the extra VRAM on smaller resolutions.
