Overclocking question

I have an i7 920, just for kicks wanted to overclock it a little to 3.0 so I increased the BLCK frequency to 150 which put the cpu speed to 3.0. The temp for the cpu is around 42c or 107F on idle.Iis this ok? I tried putting my freq up to 160 but I got a overclock fail any clues? I left the voltages btw all the same at auto seeing as it was a light overclock. Um any other advice would be appreciated. I did notice that when I booted up though it was faster.

I would recommend putting the voltages to a set number. As the computer will overcompensate on the voltages if you're overclocking. This will cause unnecessarily high temperatures.
