Overclocking Intel Q6600 and a EVGA Geforce 8600 GTS 512mb

ok well help you somemore when you've got it all build
edit: overclocking my pc got from 12000 3dmark becnhmark points to 14000 . which is one huge diff
and my computers completly stable

Okay, i have one question...Is it possible to do it with a program or do you actually have to do something to the cpu?

oh yeah thats. right... well i wouldn't worry about it untill u actually get the computer together.. then u can mess with it. cuz overclocking is based alot around ur temperatures. if ur CPU is too hot then Overclocking it will just make it hotter. so u wouldn't wanna do that

Oh and about the processor and mobo... I bought the processor in OEM and i heard that someone said if you're buying that OEM processor you will need an HSF? what does that mean?(What does the abbreviation HSF mean lol)

Heat Sink Fan... and if u bought that thermaltake that u linked us then u should be fine
