Overclocking computer

Voicemeeter takes a bit to get set up right and depending on the computer and its specs it may or may not do right. Can also depend somewhat on the audio hardware.

However once set up right and working it is much better than the Windows volume mixer.

The computer itself has been stable most all day since I upped the CPU voltage.

I got a little higher framerate in Fortnite as well.

I use a Sound Blaster Zx and full analog 5.2 surround sound. I remembered what I was trying to do now, and it was a similar dual PC streaming setup. HDMI audio to stream PC and analog surround via sound card and it lost a lot of quality simply due to using VM.

So far I haven't noticed any sound quality loss.

Think it depends on how voicemeeter is set up.

Still have to go to the part in windows where you can set the bit rate and such for each device and make sure they see set to max.

On top of their hit or miss with rerouting surround sound it bypasses the settings set in my sound card control panel and it also makes Alchemy not work.

Yep Voicemeeter does bypass settings.

Think there's even a Voicemeeter Potato which adds even more stuff.

So far my PC has been playing nice. Just spent nearly 8 hours playing Fortnite without a single problem and the game ran smooth the whole time.
