Alright I read somewhere that you can't then I read you shouldn't. Now with a google search I read that you can?

Can you?
Is it not as safe as over clocking on Desktops? If so Would that be because of Heat?

If you can how do you over clock ... period?

You can overclock a laptop. But, there are a few problems.

Limited Capabilities- Most manufacturers will lock a lot of the BIOS options to stop people from overclocking a weaker system to match the more expensive ones.

Heat- Laptops can't handle all the heat emitting from the system. They just aren't well equipped for the job.

Ah that is what I had figured from what I was seeing in the searches.
