Outlook Send&Recieve problem

I am having a problem since i reformatted my hdd. I reinstalled Microsoft Office and added my local email account. When i open outlook it won't auto send and recieve, i have to manually click it. I have gone threw the settings and i cannt find anything wrong.

Go to Tools>Options>Mail Setup>and under Send/Receive, check the box that says, "Send When Connected". I don't know if this will work but it might.

If you get an error code like 0x800dx0a yada yada.. just google it it'll tell you a solution
