Who screwed who? I didn't screw anybody. I'm not the one that brought the lawsuit and I'm not the one that decided I was part of it. The court decided that my employer (a large software company) was not compensating software engineers like me correctly and decided my employer owed me (and the other engineers in the suit) money.

The only thing I did was cash the check they sent me.

I got a lot of work done on my new fish tank this week! Have the background (black) and gravel along with plenty of rock. Filters installed and running. Water temps at 76 and that water is clearing up. The rock and gravel was washed and rinsed no soap just water and a chemical to take care of anything i might not see. I am doing a fishless break-in. Use new chemical that builds up the ammonia and then the nitrites and then the nitrates. Then i can get some fish in the tank. This new method is supposed to be a moreforgiving way to get the tank started up without some cheap fish that are going to die while the system gets with the program. First time i did it this way. I used to dump about 6 feeder goldfish and let them die as the tanks go through its "new tank syndrome. Its more humane for the fish.... Shots below, wd66:flowers:

I think i confused you a bit. I originally was going with a black background. I started seeing these backdrops that come with different backgrounds and l bought a rock bacground for the tank. It goes inside the tank on the back side its not real thick so it don't take up much of displacement for water. With that and the rock formations and the smaller rock and other pieces with algie on it will should look pretty good. That piece of driftwood was the most expense piece in the tank. Over 50 bucks!! I still have less than a grand in it right now. That last shot was darker than i liked but that first rock formation was in the tank. There was too much rock and gravel in the way. I also have a white haze from messing with the gravel it should clear up by itself. Anyway thats it for now. That one picture of the background is what i bought. I think it will look better than the black. Later

Well, I am at start over again. The city water here is so bad it won't allow tank to build up bacteria in it. Most of those who don't live outside of the city enough that there water isn't as bad. I bought a R/O water filtration unit for this issue. For those who know what a R/O unit is, It has the long name of Reverse Osmosis system filter. People use them for drinking water and i will be doing that but also for pure water for a fish tank as well. We, (the fish store) and i have tried about everything to no help. So this is the last hope. Have my fingers crossed!!!! Will let you know how it goes, WD66

Its 8 days later and i am back up and running.Water is very stable and the tests are showing the water is really doing good! I dosed the tank to 4 ppm and this morning it was at .25ppm!! new dose and will check it later, But that is really a good sign. I got the background rock in place driftwood in and a couple of plastic plants as Cichlids will tear up the real plants. Shots below. Wd66:flowers:
