She'll be doing normal computer work, light Photoshop and Illustrator, and some gaming (WoW, Age of Empires, RollerCoaster Tycoon, etc.)

Am I missing anything that I would need for a complete build out of the box?

I already have thermal paste, keyboard is in the package, and speakers won't be needed. I also haven't added a new heatsink, so suggestions would be appreciated. Not much overclocking to be done here. I've added two SATA cables for the HD and the DVD drive.

Total comes to $674.21 delivered to my doorstep.

Thanks in advance.

Are you open to opinions or are you just wondering if everything will work. I've got a few suggestions if you'll take 'em, Ghost ;).

I'm always open to suggestions, dude.

I should also mention that my budget for the build is pretty much maxed out with the parts already. I'm paying for all of this and only have $6-700 available.

Case (take your pick for $40 shipped free!):

HDD ($70; You should notice a difference between 16MB and 32MB cache if you are putting your OS on this drive):

DVD (Same-$30; I am disappointed! I just ordered 2 Sony Optiarcs for the shop for 27 shipped and now they are like 30 something with no free shipping!!! Arg!!!):

RAM ($60; The OCZ you chose should be fine, but I've just been having wonderful luck with GSkill lately! It's seriously your call, this is a very minor suggestion):

PSU ($55; Okay, don't get me wrong, Rosewill PSUs are pretty good, but grab something with an active PFC. Should save a few cents on the monthly electricity bill--from what I've read--and it handles power fluctuations better than a passive PFC--I believe that stands for power factor correction or something). Either of these (I like black so I'd grab number one ;):

MB ($110; I would stretch a little and get the 790. I've heard they are quite a bit better, especially if you are going to OC):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128387

CPU ($140; Okay...you gotta get outta the dual core stoneage! Just kidding :p...but really, you should see a noticeable increase in multi-tasking and games that are utilizing 4 cores. Plus, you can OC the crap outta it if you want):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103650

GFX ($145; it's another stretch, but I think it'd be well worth it if you are a heavy gamer. If not, stick with the one you selected):

Total Should Be $650. Would be closer to $600 if you bring the card back down to a 4850 and keep the OCZ you selected...that's your decision. This didn't include shipping. I also avoided rebates, as I wasn't sure if you were opposed to them or not. I can get you a few things cheaper with rebates if you want. Hopefully I didn't forget anything haha.

Nice build. Thanks for the suggestions.

Couple of things I want to point out, though. Your build will be almost $750 with tax and shipping. Also, there's a $40 keyboard/mouse combo I've forgotten to include in my original build that is included in my price I listed.
So I'd rather stick to the build I've got, but I will reconsider the PSU. The case is also what my sister wanted, so I won't be changing those.

Other than that, anything else that i'm ignoring/missing that I might need? All wires and cables should be good to go, right?

You have tax!? Where do you live that you get taxed from the Egg?

Darn sisters. You could save a fortune just by switching cases.

If you switch ANYTHING, switch the PSU.

Other than that, you should be good to go. It looked like there was one SATA cable included with the MB, so unless you are color coordinating, you should be fine just getting one more for the other SATA device (HDD and DVD)

I would say that if your sister plans on keeping this for more than a few years, grab the MB/CPU upgrade and back the GPU and RAM back down. I don't think she'll regret it. So if you did that, on my end the total would be down to like $617 or so (not including the keyboard combo)...

If you switch ANYTHING, switch the PSU.

I agree, they (Rosewills) can be decent psus sometimes (depending on the OEM manufacturer for a specific model number), but I would never put one in one of my builds, I would go with the Antec or a good and cheap OCZ for ~ $50, this OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ500MXSP 500W $59.99 + FS is a good one, not top of the line, but could handle this build and is only $40 after rebate, having another $20 check coming in the mail a few months after the build is always nice...

I was actually going to recommend that OCZ! Good call. The only reason I didn't was because of the rebate...I wasn't sure if he was okay with that or not.
