Chances are your not even using 1.5... Unless your doing insetive software design or C++ complieing or somthing really intense 1.5 and 3.0 dont' make much diff. Its because for one your not even using the entire 1.5 to begin with.

it makes no difference to run at 3Gb/s from 1.5Gb/s unless u r running raid which means it will use the whole bandwidth, i think it takes about 4 hard drives to use up the whole 3Gb/s bandwidth, not to sure though because i read it a long time ago, so ya dont bother with it

How fast is that IDE drive you have? SATA will be faster than IDE mind you, but only slightly, but sometimes it is nice to use IDE.
