operating system not installing!

i'm trying to sell my old computers and i have an offer and i can't get the operating system to install again!!! i have XP pro w/sp1. it copies the files, then restarts but the only thing there is a black screen with the blinking white cursor. i tried using the original norton ghost factory windows ME cd but it can't find a hard drive or something. 'write protected' i don't know.

Yea to restore ME you must have the orginal OS installed. but If you I'll PM you about somthing

Windows ME is probably the worse OS ever made. Avoid it like the plague.
