Once a compaq,always a compaq

Argh.....My pc is a Compaq S6060AN,I have reinstalled windows twice in the past 2 months,And after onle 2 days with a fresh install of wioews,im haveing problems again,Is there any way to COMPLETELY Fix it,i hate reinstalling windows!!!

Welll.......

1.The clock battery is alwys going flat (Usuall within 1 month of buying)
2.Sometime the Bios will freeze
3.File will just go randomly missing
4.Sometime i get random BSOD's
5.and after 2 months of reinstalling windows..the performance just drop heaps

clock battery going would be the CMOS battery on the motherboard. i'm willing to bet if this battery is dieing, that that could be whats causing problems 2 and 3.

not sure about 4 and 5 tho.

Compaq, *sigh*--worse computer manufacturer ever. I had a new Compaq laptop that burned out on me. It's barely a year old!!!!!

If your batteries are dying on a monthly basis, then your either using dud batteries (doubt it) or you have a dodgy mobo. All of them problems could be related to that in some way.

Yeah im using decent batteries (Energizer)
