dose any one know how to turn the onboard video off on an old compaq

We need to know what model it is. Some turn off when you install another video card. Others have a jumper. Others have something in their bios settins. It all depends on the computer

i forgot the model, but it has to do with the bios. i just cant figure out wat to turn off

Well I need a model to be of any more assistance. Get into the bios and search around if your quite sure it's there. Poking around the bios won't hurt anything, changing settings your not sure about and saving it will...

check your comps mobo manual (if it came with one). it should be the bios, and if it is, look around if yu arent sure where it is.
