Okay so this is a new one

Alright I'm using a wireless linksys adapter to connect to the router. Now I've been using this for two years no problem. I was just using my internet from my computer last night as well till 10pm, downloading/updating web surfing etc. Now I can surf websites and download files from websites, I can use ventrilo and Aim. What I can't do is update anything that needs to connect to a website like ad-aware and I can't download torrents. Checked the network monitor and it says it connected to the access point, but internet cannot be found...well wouldn't that mean I wouldn't be here right typing this up since I can't connect to the internet? Anyone have this problem before?

Maybe you got some malware or a virus. Check your hosts file to see if there is a bunch of extra crap in there.
